My Top 5 Snacks for Running

I’ve been running for many years. Sometimes it’s an effort to pull on those shoes and hit the pavement, but it’s always worth it when the adrenaline kicks in and I realize I am superwoman in those Sketchers and hot pink lycra pants. When I added yoga to the tail end of my runs, something spectacular happened. I’m not one to sweat much, but the running/yoga combo really brings the heat and leaves me glistening on my mat.

Yes, a romp in the park with some soothing stretches and a good long Savasana make for an amazing, well-rounded workout. That’s not to say it isn’t hard work, as any runner/yogi knows.     These snacks sound amazing!! I love to eat cereal with almond milk! It’s so creamy and crunchy and delicious! I also pair it with some fresh fruit to add a little natural sweetness!! 🙂 YUM!

    I’m not sure how to overcome the fear of running but I have a deep desire to get up and go running.

      On days when I don’t have much steam, I usually tell myself I’m just going to run for a few minutes. Then, I mentally challenge myself to a few more, and so on. Take things (literally) one step at a time and you’ll get there! Good luck, Sheena.
